El término "berilo" deriva del griego antiguo "berullos", que literalmente significa "color del agua del mar", en referencia al color azul verdoso del berilo. Es una piedra fina translúcida a opaca de colores variados, como la esmeralda, la aguamarina y la morganita. A nivel psicológico, se atribuye al berilo la capacidad de reducir el estrés, la ansiedad y la depresión.
La identidad consiste en los siguientes elementos: el nombre en inglés "Beryl", el símbolo, que es una síntesis única de la piedra berilo y los colores fusionados "aqua", en referencia al origen del nombre y "lavanda" asociado a las esencias aromáticas.
